This project is a Minecraft mod which introduces 10 unique tortoise species into Minecraft, designed to promote conservation and education. Each species is carefully modeled to showcase real-life traits; the Galápagos Tortoise’s size and the Red-footed Tortoise’s longer shell shape. I created all animations and textures in Blockbench and coded the mod with Java and MCreator, crafting custom biomes that reflect each species' natural habitat. This was made to offers players a fun, interactive way to discover and appreciate the world of tortoises - whilst being able to learn and promote their conservation cause. (It is currently in Beta release).
